This is my daughter, my muse. Her energy and desire to run and play during her own photoshoot reminded me that the best photos come from letting children be their authentic selves.

About Candid Kids: The Magic of Play
Forget the stiff smile and look at the camera instructions. I dedicate the first 15 minutes of every shoot just to hanging out with your child, letting them run, explore, or show me their favorite toy. We capture the magic when they forget I am even there.
My approach is simple: I chase the energy. Whether we are at a local park or in your living room, I follow your child’s lead. If they want to spin in circles, jump off a bench, or climb a jungle gym, we capture that. This is why I avoid heavy props or studio backgrounds. I want the backdrop to be the space where your family actually lives and plays. I rely on natural light and focus on quick, decisive moments. For toddlers, we keep sessions paced with their needs. If they need a break for a snack, we take it. My job is to blend into the background so you get photos that feel like memories, not manufactured portraits. We are not just taking photos; we are documenting a phase that changes every single day.
