About 3D Textured Murals
Making these murals is not just about paint. It is about sculpting depth using heavy-body texture gels and modeling pastes to create relief art that plays with light. Because these pieces are built by hand, they require 5 to 10 days to fully dry and cure. If you have a specific date for a housewarming or an event, we should plan for the timeline before we start the installation.
Our process starts by turning a flat wall into a sculptural canvas. We use a mix of modeling pastes, texture gels, and occasionally upcycled materials to build physical depth. This is not standard wallpaper or flat paint. It is relief art that changes its look as the light shifts throughout the day.
For projects like our signature 3D moon installations, we integrate custom lighting channels. This backlighting highlights the crater textures and creates that warm, soft glow that makes a room feel peaceful. We also specialize in large scale 3D florals, where we hand sculpt each petal layer by layer.
Since we work with heavy materials, we ensure the base wall is suitable first. We perform a quick assessment to check for moisture and surface integrity before we begin. Because these pieces are built up in layers, they require patience. A standard 3D piece takes anywhere from 5 to 10 days for the paste to fully dry and cure before we can apply the final varnish or install the hardware.
If you have a housewarming or event coming up, we recommend reaching out at least two weeks in advance. While we thrive in the beautiful chaos of tight deadlines, proper curing time ensures the texture holds up and does not crack over time.
