3D Textured Nature Murals
Bringing the outdoors inside with hand-sculpted, 3D relief art that captures the stillness of nature. Every cliff, waterfall, and leaf is crafted to tell a story on your walls. ✨
This large 7-foot textured mural was such a joy to create. I wanted to capture the feeling of a powerful mountain landscape, sculpting the rugged cliffs and flowing waterfall with putty and clay to give it a real 3D effect. It feels like you can almost hear the water... a little piece of nature for your home.
Here is a closer look at the waterfall texture. I spend a lot of time layering the putty to get the movement of the water just right. It’s this touchable detail that makes a 3D mural so special.
Another detail shot of the multi-layered waterfall. You can see how the sculpted rock and flowing water textures come together to create a sense of depth and realism.
A close up of the sculpted mountain peaks from the same landscape mural. I used a palette knife and different tools to create the sharp, rocky texture of the mountains against the soft, misty background.
A small video showing the variety of stories I can tell... from serene landscapes and dancing cranes to the quiet beauty of a forest. Each one is a different journey in texture and relief art.
About Textured Nature Murals
When I craft these landscapes, it is not just painting; it is sculpting with clay and putty to bring real depth to your walls. I build textures up to 1.5 inches deep, so every mountain cliff and cascading waterfall feels touchable and alive. It is messy, slow work, but it transforms a flat wall into a space that truly breathes. 🌿
Creating a 3D relief mural is a journey of layers. I start with a raw wall and slowly build the scene using high-grade putty and clay. Whether you want the jagged edges of mountain cliffs or the soft, flowing movement of a waterfall, I sculpt it all by hand to give it a 1.5-inch depth.
It is a tactile experience. You can reach out and feel the texture of the leaves or the roughness of the stone. Once the sculpting is done and the clay has cured, I paint it with acrylics and seal it with a protective varnish. This makes the art dust-resistant and durable for years.
I work across Namma Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Goa. If you have a blank wall that needs a story—a slice of the Himalayas, a tropical forest, or a calm river—let’s talk. I handle everything from the initial sketch to the final protective coat. I love meeting people in their homes and seeing how a little bit of nature can change the energy of a room. 🙏
