About Artistic Furniture Upcycling
Home isn’t just walls and floors for me, it’s memories and moments stitched together in every piece of furniture. I see old cupboards, chests, or even that stubborn pooja room door as more than things - they’re stories waiting for a new chapter. Most folks think about tossing out furniture that looks dated or tired, but I’d rather give it a second life with a touch of art.
How I Work My Magic
- First, we’ll chat. I want to know what this piece means to you and what vibe you want for your space.
- I prep the furniture - cleaning, sanding, the whole works. This step’s a bit messy, but totally worth it for that flawless canvas.
- Time for the fun part. I’ll hand-paint your vision, blending my style with your ideas. For big stuff, like those heavy cupboards, I can swing by your place in Bangalore and paint it right there.
- A solid finish on top keeps the artwork safe, even if your kids or pets are a bit wild.
What I Love to Upcycle
I don’t shy away from a challenge. I’ve worked on:
- Old cabinets, chests, heritage pieces
- Lampshades needing a splash of colour
- Even driftwood, if you want something super offbeat for your sustainable home decor
Real Talk
Every project’s a bit of a rollercoaster. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and I have to use full-on jugad (quick fixes) to make it work. But that’s the beauty - the result is always one-of-a-kind, like true custom furniture art.

My Story
Hey, we’re Mirakhi Design Studio. I’m Pratiksha, always chasing the moon, literally and artistically. Home should feel like a poem, na? That’s what we try to do – fill every space with a bit of magic, like our 3D moon art installation. Life as an artist is messy, lots of detours, but that’s where the best stories happen. Art is my therapy, and we want it to heal your home too.
My Work
Bespoke Art for Spaces - We make wall murals, 3D installations, personalised nameplates, pooja doors, trays, and gift hampers.
Handmade & Heartfelt - All pieces are hand-painted – you’ll see every brushstroke, whether it's a Kerala mural or a doodle.
Challenges are Fun - Big flower install in 4 days? Pooja door overnight? We jugad and make it work, even with Bangalore traffic.
Eco-Friendly Art - We love upcycled furniture decor and reuse project waste – giving old things a new life.
