Custom Textured Wall Art and 3D Relief Murals
These are not just paintings you look at; they are surfaces you want to touch. Each piece is built from heavy texture paste and layers of emotion, bringing a tactile depth to your walls that flat canvas simply cannot match.
This is a close-up of my massive textured relief painting of Jesus. I spent over 50 hours meticulously sculpting and painting to capture a sense of peace and devotion. The physical effort of working with over 16 kgs of texture paste is a huge part of my process.
Adding the final touches of color to the textured robes of Jesus. This part of the process requires immense patience, as I build up layers of paint to create realistic shadows and highlights on the sculpted surface.
The more I poured into my passion, the more it poured back into me. This video shows me absorbed in the detailed painting process of the large-scale textured artwork, a piece that truly tested my limits and strengthened my faith in my craft.
This time-lapse shows the initial stages of building up texture on a large canvas. While it looks fast here, this process of applying paste with a palette knife is slow and deliberate, forming the foundation for a deeply dimensional piece of stone relief art.
Adding the final shimmering details to a piece from my "Let it Blossom" series. The raised, textured petals catch the light beautifully, and the silver leaf center adds a focal point. This series is about finding beauty in vulnerability.
This is "The Becoming," the fifth painting in my six-part "Let It Blossom" series. I used soft rose and deep blue tones to represent the quiet strength and hope right before a full bloom. It’s a piece about trusting the process and knowing something beautiful is on its way.
Here I am working on a large floral piece, using a spray bottle to blend the background colors. The white textured flower stands out against the vibrant purple and blue, symbolizing purity and growth amidst life's complexities.
A work-in-progress shot of the first canvas in my "Let It Blossom" series. The thick, white texture of the flower is applied first, creating a bold form before the subtle background colors are added to tell the story of blossoming.
My art became my safe space when I felt lost. Each color and shape in this textured floral painting comes from a place of healing. The canvas allows me to turn difficult emotions into something beautiful and tangible.
A close-up shot of me carefully placing silver leaf onto the center of a textured flower. This delicate process adds a touch of light and elegance, completing the piece and symbolizing the inner sparkle we find through growth.
About Textured Wall Art
When you commission a textured piece, you are not just buying a painting; you are getting a structure that can weigh over 60 kilograms. Because of the density of the modeling paste and the layering involved, these pieces require specific wall mounting assessments before we start. I handle the heavy lifting, but we need to discuss your wall's load-bearing capacity and your preferred lighting early on, as the shadows across these textures change dramatically throughout the day.
People often ask if it is just paint on a board. It is much more. I treat every commission as a conversation between your space and my materials. Whether it is a calming mountainscape for a bedroom or a bold religious relief for a living room, the process starts with understanding the wall's orientation.
Why Texture Matters
Light is the secret ingredient. Because my work uses heavy relief modeling paste to build actual ridges and valleys, the painting looks different at 10 AM than it does at 7 PM. That shadow play is what gives the art life.
The Process
- Concept: We discuss the mood. Do you want the soft vulnerability of my 'Let it Blossom' series or the grounded energy of stone relief?
- Execution: I work in stages—applying the paste, letting it cure, then layering acrylic washes to build depth.
- Finish: Every piece gets a protective, non-yellowing varnish coat. This makes the art dust-resistant and easy to wipe down with a damp cloth, which is essential for home care.
I am based in Bangalore and handle all site assessments personally. If you have a specific color palette in mind, let me know, and we can test the interaction between the textured surface and your room's natural light.
