About Signature Blouse Collection
Every piece here starts with a sketch. Whether you want bold contrast fabrics or delicate zardosi work, I focus on the structure—like using branded foam pads and canvas fusing—to ensure your neckline stays stable and comfortable all day, especially with heavier handwork.
When you bring me a saree, my goal is to create a blouse that doesn't just match the fabric but elevates the entire look. The process begins with a one-on-one consultation at my studio in Sadashivanagar. We talk about the fabric, the occasion, and the look you are aiming for, then we sketch it out.
Why the fit matters
A well-made blouse is about more than aesthetics. I use princess-cut drafting with premium cotton or butter-crepe linings. This is critical for preventing irritation when you choose heavy hand embroidery, zardosi, or stone work. I also include 2-inch alteration margins in every stitch, so the fit remains perfect even if your size shifts slightly before your event.
Customization & Detail
- Contrast & Harmony: I love playing with contrasts. Pairing a vibrant red or deep purple blouse with a traditional KSIC or Kanjeevaram silk saree is a specialty of mine.
- The Back Neckline: From heart-shaped cutouts and teardrops to wide-neck designs, the back is where we add personality. I finish these with handmade latkans and beadwork for that final touch.
- Hand Embroidery: My team focuses on intricate Maggam work, including peacock motifs, bird designs, and 3D floral embossing. We place these on the sleeves and borders where they will catch the light, not just distract from the saree.
If you are planning your wedding look or a festive ensemble, send me a message with a photo of your saree. I can help you choose the right embroidery pattern or contrast fabric that will make the outfit truly yours.
