Stunning Mandap Designs & Ceremony Setups
Your mandap is the heartbeat of the ceremony. From traditional temple setups with fresh marigolds to modern, airy designs, I create spaces that make your rituals feel like a story.
A magical mandap setting for a night ceremony. We used hundreds of marigold strings and hanging bulbs, complemented by ornate chandeliers, to create a warm, golden glow that felt both traditional and incredibly romantic.
A look at the creation of a traditional, temple-inspired wedding space. We use authentic elements like banana trees, fresh coconuts, intricate floral garlands, and brass idols to build a sacred and auspicious atmosphere from the ground up.
For a whimsical garden wedding, we designed this custom mandap with a crimson and pink floral theme. The setup included hand-painted backdrops, unique floral chandeliers, and dragonfly-adorned details for a touch of enchantment.
The guest's journey to the mandap should be just as beautiful as the destination. Here, a winding path of fresh marigold petals leads guests to their seats under a canopy of twinkling lights and chandeliers.
A modern rooftop ceremony with a soft, romantic pastel palette. The clear acrylic mandap structure was adorned with a floating arrangement of hydrangeas and wisteria, creating a dreamy floral cloud against the sky.
The first official portrait as husband and wife. The couple stands before a backdrop of colorful tuberose strings and banana leaves, a beautiful fusion of textures and traditions that framed their moment perfectly.
About Breathtaking Mandaps & Ceremonies
Designing a mandap is about how the space breathes during the ceremony. Whether we are transforming a hotel rooftop or a garden, I prioritize sightlines so your guests can witness your vows comfortably, while ensuring the lighting is perfect for your photographer.
When I design a mandap, I look for the story behind the ritual. For traditional setups, I lean into authentic textures—think brass idols, fresh banana leaves, and fragrant tuberose—to build that sacred, temple-like atmosphere. If the vision is modern, I pivot to clean structures, perhaps using acrylic frames or floating floral clouds to create a dreamy, open feel that doesn't block the view of the sky or surroundings.
It is a balancing act of aesthetics and logistics. I have handled everything from heavy rigging for floral ceilings to delicate, DIY-inspired setups for intimate gatherings. My process involves a 3D layout review to ensure the mandap fits perfectly within your venue’s space, keeping in mind the flow of the ceremony, the entry of the bride, and the placement of the fire pit. If you have a specific heirloom, a favorite flower, or a childhood memory you want to incorporate into the design, we will make it happen. You aren't just renting a stage; you are creating the backdrop for the most significant moment of your life.
