About Mehendi Art Courses
Why I Teach Mehendi
Mehendi is more than patterns to me - it’s personal. Every line I draw is backed by years of practice with brides in Mumbai. Now, I want you to try your own hand at this art, whether you’re just curious or aiming to go pro.
Who Can Join
- Never held a mehendi cone? You’ll fit right in.
- Want to improve beyond basic flowers and paisleys? I’ll show you how.
- Thinking about taking up mehendi as a profession? You’ll pick up real skills for client work.
What You’ll Learn
I like to start slow, with the basics. My beginner mehendi design classes focus on:
- Mixing smooth henna paste from scratch
- Getting your grip and control right with the cone
- Drawing clean lines, dots, swirls
- Simple floral, paisley, and mandala motifs
Once you’re comfortable, we move to advanced bridal mehendi techniques:
- Drawing figures and couple portraits (yes, I’ll show you my tricks)
- Weaving stories and rituals into your designs
- Full-coverage, symmetrical bridal work
- Shading, jaal (net patterns), and negative space art
My Style & Dedication
People often ask, “Mehendi lagake backpain nhi hota aapka?” (Don’t you get backpain from applying mehendi?). Honestly, I don’t think about it much - I’m too caught up in making each design perfect and seeing that smile on someone’s face. That’s the kind of focus and patience you’ll see in my classes.

My Story
Hey, I'm Shravani from Mumbai. Mehendi for me? Not just patterns, it's memories that stick around. Once a bride called it 'a forever kind of memory' - I felt that. Yes, my back does hurt sometimes, people always ask - 'backpain nahi hota?' (doesn't your back hurt?) - but when the bride smiles at her stain, sab thik ho jata hai (everything feels fine). I travel for weddings, meet new faces, teach too. That happy look when you see your mehendi... makes my day.
My Work
