Why I Teach Mehndi

I’ve been doing mehndi in Mumbai for years, working with a team and creating designs for thousands of people. Now, I want to help others learn what I’ve picked up - the easy tricks, the hard bits, and everything in between.

Courses for Every Level

• Beginner mehndi design course: Never touched a cone? No problem. I’ll show you basics, step by step, until you’re comfortable making clean lines and filling out simple patterns.
• Bridal henna application techniques: If you’re thinking serious business, my bridal course goes deep. We’ll tackle full-hand and leg designs, popular wedding elements, and that dense, detailed look every bride wants.
• Portrait mehndi art workshop: This one’s for those who want to stand out. You’ll learn how to create faces and figures, making your mehndi truly different.

What You’ll Actually Learn

• Cone holding, line work, shading, filling, and using negative space
• Motifs like peacocks, paisleys, mandalas, bride-groom portraits, doli scenes, and even modern geometric designs
• Styles from classic Indian to Arabic fusion and storytelling mehndi

Where It Happens

Classes run out of my studio in Charkop, Kandivali West. It’s not fancy, but it’s the right vibe for learning and practice. Aaiye, seekhiye (Come, learn) - and don’t stress if you mess up a bit in the beginning. Mehndi takes time, but you’ll get there.
