Why I Teach Mehndi
Mehndi is more than just patterns for me - it's a part of my life. Sharing this art, seeing someone go from confused to confident, that's the real reward. Whether you’re totally new or already doodling designs, I love guiding each student through their own safar (journey).
What Happens in My Classes
- Absolute beginners get a slow start - cone holding, basic shapes, simple flowers and small mandalas. Nobody gets left behind here, even if your hands shake at first.
- If you’re already into mehndi, I’ve got you covered with advanced mehndi techniques like shading, depth, and popular styles such as Arabic mehndi style course. We’ll break down those tricky floral bunches, peacocks, and even master that bridal figure work for weddings.

How I Teach
It’s all hands-on. Honestly, mehndi needs sabar (patience). So I give lots of practice time, first on paper, then on skin. Every class has a live demo, and we learn in a group - you get to see others’ hunar (skill) too, and that always motivates.

Hi, I’m Taslim. Mehndi has been my world since 2004 – you’d laugh if you saw my old photos! Art, practice, and family, that’s my life. I get so much joy seeing a bride’s smile or a little one showing off her unicorn mehndi. Worked with celebs like Jennifer mam, travelled for weddings, taught students – every day is something new. My family’s my backbone, and mehndi is my passion.
