Why I Teach Mehendi

Mehendi is more than a skill for me - it's a way to express myself. I find joy in creating 'mehendi wale haath' and sharing that joy with anyone who wants to learn. Whether you’re a total newbie or you’ve been doodling designs for years, you’ll fit right in.

Who Can Join?

Honestly, anyone. I’ve had students who never held a cone and those who tried their hand at Indian bridal henna designs. I make sure the classes are simple enough for beginners but detailed enough for those wanting to polish their existing style.

What You’ll Learn

• Basics first: how to hold a henna cone, get steady lines, and build confidence
• Step-by-step on dots, leaves, vines - all the building blocks
• Shading tricks I use for depth and that pop effect
• Exploring styles: from intricate Indian to bold Arabic mehendi art, plus modern floral mehendi patterns
• Practice on paper templates before you touch actual skin - because I know how nerve-wracking it can be

I believe practice is everything. No rushing. We start slow, build up, and you’ll see yourself improve after every class.

Tools & Safety

I’m super picky about products - we use only organic henna techniques. No chemicals, just natural, safe cones for that rich, long-lasting stain.
