Step inside my Mumbai workshop to see how I turn raw timber into heirloom furniture. Every piece is built from scratch using traditional joinery and seasoned teak.

A stack of curved wooden components, likely for chair arms or backrests, showing the initial stages of production. Each piece is shaped by hand and joined using traditional methods.

Here I am in the workshop, sitting behind a newly crafted live-edge dining table. Behind me are large slabs of solid wood, waiting to be transformed into unique pieces of furniture.

The raw frame of a chair in the middle of my workshop, surrounded by wood shavings and tools. This is where the design first takes physical form.

A live-edge table in progress at the workshop. You can see the natural, uncut edge of the wood slab that gives these tables their unique character.

About The Artisan's Workshop

When you visit my workshop in Oshiwara, you will not find assembly lines. You will find seasoned teak slabs, traditional wood joinery, and the distinct scent of fresh sawdust. Every piece, from the curves of a Pierre Jeanneret replica to the grain of a live-edge table, is crafted here by hand. I use high-grade commercial plywood for stability alongside solid wood, ensuring your furniture does not just look good today but stays sturdy for decades.
