When we build a sofa, the frame is solid teak, but the comfort is entirely up to you. Whether you need a firmer seat for a study or plush cushioning for a lounge, we adjust the foam density and upholstery fabric to match how you actually use the piece. This is not about choosing from a catalogue, it is about deciding exactly how your furniture feels before we make the first cut.
Built for Longevity
Every sofa, daybed, or bench that leaves our Mumbai workshop is constructed with solid teak frames. We rely on traditional mortise and tenon joinery, which provides structural integrity that lasts for decades. Unlike mass-produced furniture that relies on staples and glue, our pieces are reinforced to handle daily, heavy use in both residential and commercial settings.
Customization Beyond Dimensions
We often adapt mid-century designs, such as Pierre Jeanneret replicas, to suit modern needs. If you like the silhouette of a piece but need different dimensions, or if you prefer a specific stain on the wood, we can accommodate that. We offer a variety of upholstery options, including heavy-duty canvas, leatherette, and linen blends, all tested for high abrasion resistance. For our cane-backed designs, the weaving is done by hand, ensuring each panel is tight, supportive, and visually consistent.
The Process
We keep you involved throughout the build. Once you select your design and finishes, we provide updates as the wood is seasoned and the frame is assembled. Our standard lead time is 4 to 6 weeks, which includes quality checks for joinery stability and finish application. We offer a 5-year structural warranty on all seating, covering wood borer issues and joint failure, giving you peace of mind that your investment is protected.
