It takes more than just sand to build a narrative. From the first storyboard sketch to the final live sync with music, here is what goes into crafting a performance that captures your story.

Adding colourful details to a romantic sand art piece created for a beautiful song. The fine grains of coloured sand allow for intricate and vibrant illustrations.

The final touches on a floral design using coloured sand. This close-up shows how I use tools to add fine lines and details to the artwork.

A work in progress for a beautiful song, this piece captures a romantic moment. The use of coloured sand for the flowers adds a touch of softness and beauty.

A colourful sand art piece created for The Hans Foundation, depicting the spiritual practice of yoga. The vibrant colours represent the energy and life that yoga brings.

A colourful scene of a lotus pond, part of a series of sand art illustrations for a song. I love using a full palette of coloured sand to create these nature-inspired visuals.

An illustration I created for myself, just for the joy of it. This piece, featuring a pianist surrounded by flowers, was a chance to play with colours and textures.

A close-up of me creating a personal piece. Sometimes, the most enjoyable work is when I can just let my creativity flow without a specific brief.

About The Artist's Process

Most people see the final image, but the real magic happens in the synchronization. Whether I am collaborating with my husband Saurabh on the musical score or mapping out the 6 to 8 scene transitions for a brand narrative, my priority is timing. I always recommend using a high-lumen projector for the venue, as this ensures the fine details of my live sand work are visible even in large, brightly lit halls.
