Live Sand Art for High-Profile Stages
From sharing stories on TEDx stages to broadcasting on national television, I create live sand art experiences that hold an audience’s attention from the first grain to the last.
A glimpse of my live performance for Doordarshan's 75th birthday celebration. It was an emotional moment to see my art broadcast on DD National, a channel I grew up watching.
Done with my performance at the "Jashn-e-Kafila" event. It's always a pleasure to perform at events that celebrate literature, art, and culture.
My performance for Doordarshan's 65th anniversary was featured on DD National. It was an honour to share the stage with the respected Kailash Kher ji for this special program.
A photo from the Doordarshan event celebrating 65 years of the iconic channel. I was thrilled to perform live for their special program, "Dil se Doordarshan."
A mandatory picture at the beautiful IIT Roorkee campus when Saurabh and I came to perform at TEDx. It brought back nostalgic memories of my time at IIT Bombay.
Standing in front of the iconic main building of IIT Roorkee. The campus is so peaceful and beautiful, it was a wonderful environment to be in before our TEDx talk.

About On Stage: TEDx & National Television
When we perform on large stages, the setup requires more than just a light box. We need a high-lumen projector and a professional sound system at the venue to ensure the visual rhythm of my sand strokes matches the acoustics perfectly. This ensures that even in large halls or outdoor setups, the story remains intimate and clearly visible to every guest.
Performing on platforms like TEDx and Doordarshan has taught me that live sand art is about connection, not just demonstration. Whether I am at an auditorium in IIT Roorkee or a television studio for a national broadcast, the goal is to weave a narrative that feels personal to the audience present.
My husband, Saurabh, is a key part of these high-profile performances. His live music creates a sensory layer that turns a simple visual presentation into an immersive show. We synchronize every movement, from the crescendo of a guitar string to the shifting of sand grains, to ensure the emotional impact hits exactly when the story demands it.
For event organizers, this means we are fully equipped to handle high-pressure environments. We bring our own custom light box and high-definition camera rig, needing only a projector and screen connection from the venue to display the art. We have experience with everything from cultural festival shows and university talks to corporate award ceremonies, ensuring that our technical setup integrates seamlessly with your existing AV arrangements.

My husband Saurabh and I don't just perform; we build a conversation between sand, music, and the audience. Whether it's a corporate gala or a televised anniversary, we bring the same attention to detail, treating every stage like it's the first time I'm telling my story.
