A behind-the-scenes look at the hands that craft your stories, from live event stages to the quiet moments of creation.

A moment captured between performances. Being an artist, performer, and entertainer means I am also a traveler, living and breathing stories both on and off the stage. This is a glimpse into the life of an artist on the move.

A photo from an event, reflecting on the nature of my work. I see myself not just as an artist, but as an artisan, someone who hones a craft with dedication and skill. It's a distinction that defines my approach to every story I tell.

It was an honor to be invited as a judge for Alla Prima '24, the Annual Art Fest of SSCBS. Supporting and encouraging the next generation of artists is something I am deeply passionate about.

Standing before a wall of art, I am always reminded to "Boldly Go Forth." Every piece of art is a new journey, and as an artist, I am constantly inspired to explore new creative paths.

A quiet moment of reflection at an event venue. The life of a traveling artist is filled with these moments of pause, surrounded by the art and atmosphere that fuel my own creativity.

A black and white portrait taken during my travels for an event. The 90s aesthetic of this series of photos reflects a mood, a vibe of classic style and timeless artistry that I strive to bring to my work.

Another shot from my "90s" series. The setting is often a hotel lobby or an event space, the temporary homes where I prepare to go on stage and share my art with a new audience.

Posing next to a vibrant painting. I draw inspiration from all forms of art, and being surrounded by the work of other artists always ignites my own creative energy before a performance.

A candid moment, lost in thought before a show. These quiet times are crucial for mentally preparing to channel the right emotions into the sand and onto the screen.

A dramatic shot of me at my light box, with the warm glow illuminating the sand in my hand. This image captures the intimate and focused connection between the artist and his medium.

About The Artist & The Process

Every time I step up to the light box, I am aware that the image I build is fleeting. Sand is a medium of change, and my art is about capturing a lifetime of memories into a few minutes of performance. It requires a calm hand and a deep understanding of your story, because once the music fades, the sand is all that remains.
