Featured Training Highlights: Combat Discipline and Strength
Real combat strength isn't built in a few months. Here is a look at the raw, functional grind we put in to build fighters who last.
This is what I mean when I say it takes time. Building real, functional combat strength isn't a six month program. It takes years of consistent work with tools like sleds for explosive power and rope climbs for the kind of grip strength you need for grappling. *5 saal toh lagte hi hain.*
Heavy bag work is fundamental. Here, I am working on a combination of powerful punches and kicks, focusing on form, speed, and impact. This is how we build the endurance to stay dangerous round after round.
My role as a coach is to be right there with you on the mat. This is a glimpse into a typical MMA session, where we drill everything from striking defense to executing a clean Judo throw. It's about practical, hands on guidance.
My strength training is a complete system for fighters. We use ab rollers for core stability, dumbbell presses for upper body power, pull ups for back and arm strength, and rope climbs to build a vice like grip for Judo and BJJ.
The energy in our group sessions is about pushing each other to be better. Here you can see a boxing drill in progress, where we focus on reaction time, footwork, and accurate punching under pressure.
This is a specialized Judo drill using a thera band to practice the pulling motion of a throw. This exercise builds muscle memory and the specific strength needed to control an opponent's posture, which is crucial in Judo and grappling.
The fight is in the gym, but strength comes from your life. For me, that's my family and my roots. *Tum bas apne aap se mat haarna, phir koi doosra bhi tumhein hara nahi payega.*
About Featured
You won't find air conditioning or fancy machines in this basement. We train on 35mm mats with tools like heavy ropes, sleds, and heavy bags to build functional, fight-ready bodies. This is a space for people who are serious about Judo, MMA, and Kickboxing, and are ready to embrace the sweat required to improve.
My philosophy is simple: real strength takes years to develop, not months. If you are looking for a quick fix or a gym where you can just browse your phone between sets, this is not the place for you. We focus on combat conditioning that translates directly to the mat or the ring.
The Bodhi Raan Approach
We don't do random routines. Every session is designed with a purpose, whether it is increasing explosive power for striking, improving grip strength for Judo throws, or building core stability through rigorous calisthenics.
- Functional Strength: We use weighted sleds and rope climbs to ensure you develop the kind of grip and pulling power that actually matters during a grappling match.
- Technical Precision: Whether it is Judo throwing mechanics or Muay Thai pad work, we drill the fundamentals until they are second nature.
- Mental Toughness: The most important muscle is the one between your ears. We train hard so that when things get difficult, you don't quit on yourself.
We welcome anyone who is ready to show up consistently. Whether you are a competitive fighter or someone who simply wants to learn how to defend themselves and move with control, you will find a home here. It is about building a warrior mindset—disciplined, rooted, and ready for whatever comes your way. Bas, apne aap se mat haarna (just don't lose to yourself), and we will handle the rest.
