Selected Editorial and Commercial Portfolio
A curated collection of my work defining my visual language—blending conceptual storytelling with technical precision.
An avant-garde look from my 'Chemical Reaction' series, where sculptural fashion and flowing fabric visualize the concept of emotions as molecular processes. This image captures the project's use of flamboyant silhouettes to express abstract ideas.
The cover story for Elle India Beauty, from the 'Becoming Earth' editorial. This shot establishes the core concept of metamorphosis, using organic textures and bold green makeup to explore a primal, plant-like form of beauty.
A scene from 'Ophelia Reimagined,' a modern retelling of the classic painting. I used motion blur and a dreamlike color palette to portray Ophelia's emotional depth and resilience, transforming her tragedy into a story of strength.
An experimental portrait from the 'Peek-a-boo' series, shot with a fisheye lens. This technique distorts perspective to create a surreal, intimate view, challenging conventional fashion photography norms.
A portrait from the 'Silhouette' project, where I used dramatic, low-key lighting to sculpt the subject's form. The interplay of light and shadow emphasizes the garment's structure and creates a powerful, moody atmosphere.
A vibrant shot for a Sazo.in brand campaign, set in a natural, outdoor environment. The art direction here focuses on creating a playful, energetic mood that reflects the brand's colorful and whimsical clothing.
From the conceptual series 'from the pages,' this image explores how magazine imagery shapes our self-perception. The styling incorporates magazine cutouts directly onto the garment, serving as a form of cultural commentary.
A portrait captured on 35mm film, showcasing a raw and unfiltered aesthetic. The composition, featuring a simple stool and backdrop, highlights the androgynous styling and the unique texture of analogue photography.
A clean, elegant shot for the Batoki Art jewelry campaign. The focus is on the product and the model's direct gaze, set against a solid green backdrop to make the gold jewelry stand out.
An ethereal image from the 'Whispering Veil' project, using light painting to create a ghostly, fluid effect. This technique helps tell a story of delicate beauty and movement, wrapping the model in trails of light.
About Featured
My process relies on deep collaboration. Before we arrive on set, I develop a specific narrative arc and moodboard, coordinating directly with stylists and hair and makeup artists. This ensures that every element—from the lighting design to the garment choice—serves the core concept we are trying to communicate, whether it is a brand lookbook or a personal art series.
This selection represents the core pillars of my practice: storytelling, technical exploration, and commercial execution. My work spans from high-concept editorial features in magazines like Elle India to precise, brand-aligned commercial campaigns.
Conceptual Narrative
I approach every project, whether it is a character study or a brand lookbook, as a story. Projects like 'Chemical Reaction' and 'Ophelia Reimagined' demonstrate how I translate abstract concepts into visual language. I use dramatic lighting, motion blur, and color grading to build a specific mood, ensuring the imagery communicates a deeper meaning rather than just showcasing a product or a subject.
Technical Versatility
My toolkit is intentionally broad. I utilize a mix of digital and 35mm film photography to achieve different textures. While digital allows for high-end, clean commercial work, I often turn to analogue techniques when the project demands a raw, authentic edge. I frequently employ experimental methods—such as fisheye perspectives, projector lighting, and long-exposure motion blur—to challenge traditional fashion photography norms and create images that stand out in a digital feed.
Collaborative Execution
I operate under the belief that no one works solo. My art direction involves active coordination with stylists, MUAs, and models. Whether we are shooting in a Mumbai studio or on location, the goal is to align every team member with the project's vision. I provide rigorous pre-production support, including shot-by-shot storyboarding and sourcing advice, to ensure the final deliverables meet editorial standards.
