About Campaign & Commercial Glam
When working on set, my focus is on stability and consistency. I use HD products like NARS and Charlotte Tilbury because they don’t flashback under studio lighting, and I stay on-set for 8-hour shifts to handle touch-ups, flyaway fixes, and garment-change variations, so the photographer does not have to worry about the hair or makeup slipping.
My commercial approach is technical. Every campaign has a different requirement, from raw, natural aesthetics for e-commerce to highly structured, high-fashion looks for editorial prints. I start by aligning with your mood board. If the brief calls for a specific era or texture, I plan the kit accordingly.
For studio work, I prioritize products that handle high-resolution close-ups and intense lighting. I use pigments that will not shift under heat or create a white cast in flash photography. My kit is stocked with professional-grade brands like Danessa Myricks and Kryolan for creative projects, while maintaining clean, skin-focused palettes for daily editorial shoots.
Hair is just as critical. I am frequently hired to execute the wet look, clean ponytails, or intricate braids that need to stay perfect despite movement or multiple outfit swaps. During a shoot, I do not just sit back. I stay on the monitor, watching for stray hairs or shine, and intervening before the next frame is shot.
I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India for projects. Whether you are shooting in a studio in Bandra or an outdoor location, I bring my full setup and the discipline needed to keep the shoot on schedule.
