Scope of Work
- Duration: Up to 8 hours of on-set presence suitable for lookbooks and campaigns.
- Capacity: Covers hair and makeup for 1-2 models.
- Looks: Includes creation of 1 primary "Hero Look" and unlimited touch-ups or minor variations (lip changes, hair tucks) to match changing garments.
Technical Specifics
- Products: Usage of flash-friendly HD products (NARS, Charlotte Tilbury) designed to prevent flashback under studio lights.
- Hair: Covers commercial blowouts, sleek ponytails, or buns (excludes wig installation).
- Body: Includes body makeup (concealing and highlighting) for exposed skin areas like legs and arms.
- Support: Constant monitor checks to fix flyaways or shine instantly between shots.
Creative & Avant-Garde Artistry
Artistry Level
- Concept: Execution of high-complexity concepts such as full face paint, metallic/robotic skin, graphic liner art, or gem work.
- Hair: Includes specialized editorial styling like the "Wet Look," architectural shapes, or wire-work.
- Consultation: Includes pre-shoot alignment on mood boards to ensure makeup matches the editorial story.
Materials & Prep
- Kit: Usage of pro-performance pigments (Danessa Myricks, Kryolan), mixing mediums, and strong adhesives.
- Skin: Extensive skin prep to support heavy pigments and assistance with safe removal post-shoot.
- Note: Props (headgear/jewelry) are excluded unless fabricated specifically from hair/pins.

What I Do
I'm Deepti, a makeup artist and hairstylist from Mumbai. I work mostly in fashion and editorial spaces - my portfolio is kinda my story, so you'll see everything from clean commercial stuff to full-on experimental looks.
Makeup Styles I Love
I get bored with just one style, so I do everything from bold color blocking makeup and metallic, futuristic faces, to classic smokey eyes and graphic eyeliner for fashion shoots. Sometimes I go wild with glossy, glass-like finishes or abstract shapes, and sometimes the job needs a fresh, glowy no-makeup campaign look. I work with both male and female models, and I enjoy pushing boundaries or keeping it simple - depends on the vibe.
Hair That Matches the Mood
Hair isn’t an afterthought for me. I handle sleek wet effect hair styling a lot, plus intricate braids, messy buns, and clean updos. I’m big on sculptural, creative hair too, like adding accessories or playing with shapes. But natural blowouts and enhancing curls? That's also in my kit.
How I Roll on Shoots
I like collaborating, not just bossing around with my brushes. I work closely with photographers, stylists, and designers to get that final image right. My experience covers everything from lookbooks and editorials to fashion shows. Mumbai’s home, but I travel if the project is exciting enough.
