My Art Journey: Process, Practice & Philosophy
I am Surekha. For me, art is more than pigment on canvas, it is meditation, a way to declutter the mind, and a path back to myself. Here is a peek into my world and how we can create together.
A quiet, peaceful moment of me in the zone, painting in my studio. This is my form of meditation, where I feel most present and connected.
A quick selfie from an event at the JW Marriott. I love being out and about, connecting with the community and sharing my art.
A little bio feature from a collaboration with Craftsutra. It describes my work as an artist, mindfulness mentor, and workshop facilitator.
A peek at my art station with a colorful palette, brushes, and an easel. This is where the creative magic begins.

About Meet the Artist & My Process
When I host a workshop, I am not looking for perfect, gallery-ready canvases. Whether we are doing a dirty pour or fluid art, I focus on the messy process, the breathing exercises at the start, and the way colors flow together without a strict plan. Most people who join have never held a brush since school, and that is exactly the kind of person who usually leaves feeling the most refreshed.
My journey began during COVID, painting hearts as a way to send love out into the world. It was messy, honest, and became a way for me to find my way back to myself. Today, I bring that same philosophy to my workshops in Bengaluru. My practice revolves around radical responsibility, which is just my way of saying we should take ownership of how we feel and what we create.
We start by ditching the idea that art needs to be perfect. Whether you are exploring fluid art for the first time or looking for a structured two-hour session, the focus remains on the experience of creation. I use techniques like dirty pours and flip cups because they are inherently unpredictable, helping you let go of the need for control.
For private groups and corporate teams across Bengaluru, I bring all the supplies, from floor coverings to paints, so you can focus on the vibe. I also offer DIY kits and online classes for those who prefer the comfort of home. If you are chewing on your own struggles, or just want to try something new, I see you. Let us make something beautiful together.
