About Project Spotlight: Brassa Resto-Bar

At Brassa, we moved away from the typical dark bar aesthetic to prioritize light and volume. The high vaulted ceiling and the grand arched window anchor the space, while we softened the geometry with custom fabric origami light fixtures. This approach turns the venue into a bright, airy retreat that feels distinct from the standard industrial microbrewery look.

This is how we make a first impression. For Hideout Cafe in Bangalore, we designed an exterior that is open and inviting, giving passersby a clear view of the warm, nature-inspired ambiance waiting inside. The combination of modern signage, lush greenery, and a glimpse of the rustic interior lighting creates instant curb appeal.7
Stepping into the semi-outdoor seating area, we created a peaceful retreat. We used woven rattan pendant lights and light wood furniture to establish a warm, eco-elegant feel. The abundant greenery acts as a natural separator, offering guests a sense of privacy and calm.
For this project, we brought nature indoors in a big way. The central tree serves as a stunning focal point, creating a serene atmosphere throughout the cafe. We designed the layout to ensure that no matter where you sit, you have a connection to the outdoors, enhanced by the large window flooding the space with natural light.
This top-down view showcases our approach to space planning and creating a functional customer flow. We designed distinct seating zones around the central tree, including intimate tables for two and larger arrangements, ensuring the layout is both visually interesting and practical for a busy cafe.

This multi-level view showcases the verticality of the garden design, with plants cascading from the upper balcony. A shallow water body with koi fish runs alongside the seating area, adding a sensory layer of sound and movement to the biophilic experience.12
The long community tables are sheltered by a custom metal pergola with hanging vines, creating an experience of dining within a garden trellis. This design element provides shade and intimacy while reinforcing the feeling of being completely enveloped by nature.
Here, vintage objects like a gramophone and a red cabinet are placed within the lush greenery, adding a layer of retro storytelling. This juxtaposition of curated objects and wild planting creates unique, explorable moments throughout the restaurant space.
A narrow passage becomes a verdant corridor, with vines hanging like a curtain and light filtering through the leaves. This transitional space demonstrates how even functional areas can be transformed into immersive natural experiences through thoughtful biophilic design.

The rooftop terrace at Bramble Kitchen & Bar offers an expansive view, combining casual seating with lush planters to create an urban garden feel. This space was designed to be the main attraction, perfect for evening gatherings.6
The interior seating area features a mix of curved teal booths and individual tables against an exposed brick wall. A glass roof allows for ample natural light during the day and a view of the stars at night, enhancing the dining experience.
A key design feature at Bramble is this series of bold, red-tiled arches with integrated backlighting. They create a visually stunning corridor that adds depth and character to the restaurant's interior layout.
We selected furniture and a color scheme that is both bold and inviting. The contrast of the rich wood tables with the vibrant blue chairs and tropical plants contributes to the energetic and stylish ambiance of the restaurant.

A nature-inspired cafe design featuring light wood, wicker furniture, and cascading decorative elements. The layout provides a variety of seating options, from intimate two-person tables to larger banquettes, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere.6
This cafe interior uses a mix of materials like brick, wood, and metal to create a vibrant, eclectic look. The colorful, mismatched chairs and hanging plants contribute to a lively and casual dining environment that feels unique and inviting.
We achieved a rustic, vintage ambiance in this restaurant through the use of unfinished walls, a wooden ceiling, and classic furniture. The gallery wall and warm, low-level lighting create an intimate and historic feel for diners.

This image captures the essence of our award winning project, Lucky Chan. We designed this dim sum bar as a cinematic experience, layering textures, lighting, and brand elements to create a space that feels both expressive and intimate, a true celebration of dining as theatre.8
For Prequel, the bar is the heart of the space. We placed the brand's tagline, 'What's your story?', front and center to spark conversation, creating a focal point that is both a service area and a statement piece reflecting the restaurant's social, narrative driven identity.
We revitalized the iconic Café Coffee Day on BEL Road by creating an inviting facade that blends modern design with Bangalore's lush greenery. The open, airy entrance is a glimpse into the refreshed, memorable coffee experience we designed within.
Detail is everything. At the Lucky Chan sushi bar, we layered a cascading tassel light fixture over traditional Japanese scripted pots to create a corner that feels both whimsical and grounded, blending modern aesthetics with cultural authenticity.

The entrance to Dubki in Goa was designed to feel like discovering a hidden cave. The fluid, ferro-cement walls and warm, low-level lighting guide you through a tunnel that opens up to the expansive view of the ocean, creating a dramatic sense of arrival.28
The organic, cave-like forms at Dubki were crafted from ferro-cement, with muted, earthy tones to create a warm and grounded atmosphere. The design seamlessly blends the built environment with the natural cliffside setting.
