Community & Social Impact Murals

I design large-scale murals that turn public walls into shared conversations. Whether we are highlighting local stories or building community spirit, I invite neighborhoods and teams to pick up a brush and co-create with me.

This is a before-and-after of the 'Stories of Water' mural, a collaborative project to raise awareness about the water crisis. We transformed a weathered public wall into a powerful narrative about our relationship with water, working alongside community members and volunteers.

Each panel of the 'Stories of Water' mural tells a different part of the story. From the farmer dependent on the rains to the children playing in floodwaters, the artwork depicts the complex and often contradictory realities of water access and urbanization in our city.

Here are some moments from the creation of the 'Stories of Water' mural. It started with awkward introductions and ended with a community of strangers and friends painting together, sharing stories, and bringing color and conversation to a public space.

About Community & Social Impact Projects

For projects like my 'Stories of Water' mural, I do not just paint, I facilitate. We work with a collaborative timeline, often finishing large public walls in just four days. This involves everything from prepping weathered concrete and sourcing non-toxic, weather-resistant paints to organizing local volunteers and neighborhood children. You are not just hiring an artist, you are commissioning a catalyst that brings your community together.

Art is a tool for connection. When I take on a community project, the wall becomes a medium for dialogue.

My Process

It starts with understanding the space and the narrative. If it is a neighborhood mural, we often hold open sessions. I handle the technical side, from surface priming to remove cracks and ensuring a smooth base, to using low-VOC Asian Paints Royale or Liquitex for durability. I always finish with a protective varnish coat to ensure the artwork survives the elements. Community members join in, helping with color-blocking and storytelling, which makes the result feel like a shared achievement rather than an external imposition.

Sustainability and Scope

My work prioritizes non-toxic materials. Even for large public walls, I focus on longevity and safety. Whether it is a school, a residential society, or a corporate office, I ensure the process is as memorable as the result.

Logistics and Pricing

I am based in Bengaluru but available for travel across India. Pricing ranges from ₹350 to ₹650 per sq ft. This rate covers:

  • Initial consultation and 2 to 3 digital mockups.
  • Surface preparation, cleaning, and crack filling.
  • Hand-painting using premium materials.
  • Final protective varnish coating.

You get the art, but your team gets the experience of creating it. Let us start with a conversation about what you want to say to the world.
