A Peek Into My Creative Process

Art is not just the final polished piece. It is the messy, hands-on journey of bringing an idea to life, whether that involves molding cement or painting a mural.

Here I am, completely absorbed in creating the textured surface of my moon sculpture. This work-in-progress shot captures the focus and hands-on detail that goes into every piece. I'm clearly over the moon!

A few snapshots of me in my element. Whether I'm at a stall with my 'Eggspressions' microgreens, posing with a finished installation, or just taking a moment to document the journey, this is the life of an artist, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

The making of the 'Unveiling of the Moon' sculpture. This video shows the process from mixing the cement to carefully sculpting the craters. It was a custom piece for a client in Mumbai, and I'm so grateful for the space to create such large-scale works.

About Behind the Scenes & My Process

My creative process rarely follows a straight line. It usually starts with an idea that I am slightly anxious about, followed by a lot of trial and error with materials like cement or scrap fabric, and plenty of coffee. I believe in showing the work in its raw, unfiltered state because that is where the real connection happens.

Every piece of art I create is a relationship. It starts with the spark of an idea, moves through the anxiety of not knowing exactly how to build it, and ends with the bittersweet feeling of letting it go into your space.

My Approach

Whether I am crafting an upcycled sculpture from discarded cassette tapes or painting a large-scale interactive mural, the process is always experimental. I don't use a standard rulebook. If a project requires figuring out how to make cement look like the craters of the moon, I will spend days in the studio testing mixtures and textures until it feels right.

Sustainability at the Core

A huge part of my process is about finding value in what others deem waste. I am constantly sourcing scrap fabric, metal, and plastic. When you hire me for a custom project, you aren't just getting a decorative piece. You are getting an artwork that has been physically built from the ground up, often using materials that have lived a previous life.

Collaborative Design

For my clients in Bengaluru and beyond, the process is collaborative. We start with a conversation about your space and the story you want to tell. I provide digital mockups to ensure we are aligned, but I always leave room for the magic that happens during the actual execution. Whether it is a home wall or a corporate installation, I want the end result to feel authentic, tactile, and completely yours.
