Hand-Thrown Ceramic Teapots and Decorative Vases
Transform your space with statement pieces that tell a story. Whether it is the morning ritual of a Bloom and Brew teapot or the vibrant pop of a Dew Drops vase set, each item brings a touch of handmade elegance to your home.
The 'Bloom & Brew' teapot with its lid off, showing the deep indigo glaze inside. Every part of the piece is handcrafted, from the body to the spout and handle.
A pair of 'Bloom & Brew' teapots, each with slight variations in the hand-painted floral design. They make a beautiful set for serving tea or as decorative objects.
My 'Dew Drops' vases styled on a side table. These hand-painted ceramic vases, with their scarlet red and indigo patterns, are designed to add a pop of color and artistic flair to modern homes.

This set of two 'Dew Drops' vases comes in different sizes that complement each other perfectly. They can be used for dried flowers or stand alone as sculptural art pieces.
About Artful Teapots & Vases
Because every piece is wheel-thrown or hand-built, no two are identical. My 'Bloom and Brew' teapots and 'Dew Drops' vases carry unique fingerprints of the process, and slight variations in the indigo glaze or hand-carved textures are exactly what make them yours. They are not mass-produced, so expect the beautiful, honest quirks that come with high-fired stoneware.
When you bring a piece of Maati Sona into your home, you are not just getting decor, you are getting hours of careful shaping, trimming, and firing. My process starts with a lump of clay and ends in a kiln, firing at high temperatures to ensure the stoneware is durable enough for daily use.
The Craft Behind the Pieces
Each teapot spout is hand-shaped to ensure a smooth pour, and my vases go through water-tight testing before they reach you. I use a mix of techniques, from wheel-throwing for those perfect, classic curves to hand-building when a piece needs that raw, organic feel. The indigo and scarlet glazes on the 'Dew Drops' collection are mixed in my studio, giving them that distinct, moody depth you will not find in store-bought ceramics.
Caring for Your Pottery
Do not be afraid to actually use these items. While they look like art, they are functional pieces.
- Food-Safe: All my teapots and bowls are lead-free and safe for your morning chai.
- Durability: High-fired for strength, they hold up in the microwave and dishwasher.
- Care: A soft hand wash keeps the luster of hand-painted motifs intact for years.
