About Celebrating Together: Annual Events & Community

Our events, from annual Literacy Weeks to our 'Walk in My Shoes' inclusion walks, are designed to pull parents into the learning journey. These moments are vital opportunities for your child to see you engaged in their world, building their confidence while we all connect as a community in our Kothanur and Thanisandra campuses.

At Little Red Hen, we do not view school as a place where children are dropped off and picked up. We view it as a second home, and like any home, it thrives on shared experiences. Our community events are crafted to foster this sense of belonging.

Why We Prioritize Community Events

  • Bridging Home and School: During our annual Literacy Week, we invite parents to share stories, creating a powerful link between what a child learns in the classroom and the comfort of their home reading habits.
  • Interactive Learning: Our events, such as the Puppet Troupe shows and musical storytelling sessions with TALA Education, turn passive learning into an active, multi-sensory experience.
  • Building Empathy: Through community initiatives like the 'Walk in My Shoes' event, we introduce children to the concept of inclusiveness and caring for others from an early age.
  • A Joyful Space: Whether it is a Book Fair or a themed costume day, these events are about creating joyful memories. We have seen firsthand how a shy child blooms when they are dressed as their favorite book character, surrounded by friends and family.

We limit our batch sizes to ensure that our events remain intimate and manageable, allowing every child to participate fully rather than just watching from the sidelines. If you want to see our community in action, we invite you to join us for our next open house or upcoming seasonal event.

We believe school shouldn't just be a place where kids go to learn, but a space where families truly belong. Our team loves hosting events that pull us all together, because we have seen how much more confident children feel when they see their parents actively sharing in their world.
