At Ace Montessori, festivals and special days are more than just breaks from routine. They are hands-on opportunities where children connect with culture, build social skills, and create memories with friends and family.

There's nothing like celebrating with a cake. For Children's Day, the kids gathered to cut a cake together, a sweet end to a day of fun and games.

Our Fireless Cooking Day was a wonderful community event where parents joined in to help the children prepare delicious and healthy snacks.

We celebrated Holi with flower petals, a safe and eco-friendly alternative to chemical colors. Parents and children created beautiful art together using the petals.

Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi by making our own clay idols. This hands-on activity helps children connect with cultural traditions in a meaningful way.

A happy huddle of friends. We took some fun photos to celebrate Children's Day and capture the special bonds formed at our school.

About this collection

We do not just host parties; we use events like Fireless Cooking and flower-petal Holi as extensions of our Montessori curriculum. Whether it is preparing healthy snacks with parents or hand-molding clay idols for Ganesh Chaturthi, these moments teach children cultural awareness and social grace in a safe, fun environment.

Our approach to community events centers on active participation rather than passive observation. When we celebrate festivals, we look for ways to make them tactile and age-appropriate for our students aged 2 to 10.

Cultural Learning

During Ganesh Chaturthi, children learn patience and fine motor skills by molding their own clay idols. For Holi, we focus on eco-friendly celebrations, substituting chemical colors with flower petals. This allows children to explore textures and scents while understanding the importance of safe, conscious play.

Building Community

We view parents as partners. Our Fireless Cooking days often involve parents joining their children to assemble snacks, providing a unique space for families to bond within our school environment. This collaboration strengthens the sense of community we work hard to build.

Social & Emotional Growth

Events like Children's Day are designed to let kids just be kids. Through simple, joy-filled games, balloon play, and shared treats, we observe children practicing empathy, taking turns, and celebrating the achievements of their peers.

Why It Matters

In a world of screen time, our community celebrations bring the focus back to real-world interactions. Whether it is a classroom birthday or a seasonal festival, our goal is to foster confidence and curiosity, ensuring every child feels like a valued member of the Ace Montessori family.
