About The Tiniest Details
You might worry that a session will be too much for your newborn, but these macro moments are designed to be entirely calm. I focus on the tiny, fleeting details—like the way their fingers curl around yours or their perfect little lashes—ensuring they stay comfortable, safe, and happy in my quiet studio.
These early days are a blur of feedings and sleepless nights, but the tiny features of your newborn change faster than you can imagine. I love capturing the in-between moments: the curve of an ear, the way their skin wrinkles, or a sleepy, content smile. These macro shots are not just photos; they are a time capsule of their newness.
In my Malad studio, I prioritize safety above everything else. As a photo doula, my session is built around patience. If your baby needs to feed or be soothed, we stop. We take our time to get these detailed shots without rushing.
The ideal time for these portraits is between days 5 and 14. This is when babies are still naturally curled and spend most of their time sleeping, which allows me to pose them safely and gently. I use professional macro techniques to highlight the delicate textures of their skin and features, creating portraits that feel intimate and real. Whether it is their tiny feet or the strength in their small hands, my goal is to give you images that bring you right back to these first, sweet days years down the line.
