Tiny fingers, soft yawns, and wispy hair change in the blink of an eye. I freeze these fleeting details in artistic close-up portraits so you can hold onto this moment forever.

A father's thumb gently holds his baby's entire foot. This timeless black and white image is a powerful illustration of how tiny they are in these first few days.

A baby's hand wrapped around their parent's finger. This macro shot in black and white emphasizes the delicacy of their tiny fingers and the strength of the bond.

The tiniest, most delicate grasp. I love creating these simple, powerful images that focus on the connection between parent and child.

A creative and symbolic pose, with the parents' and sibling's hands forming a protective circle around the newborn.

A father's hands securely holding his baby, showcasing the contrast between his strong hands and the baby's delicate form.

Another variation of the family hands pose, creating a beautiful, layered composition that speaks of love, safety, and family.

Held safely in your hands, a perfect little world. This style of photograph is one of my favourites, showing the profound connection and protection that surrounds your newborn.

A macro shot of a baby's tiny fingers and soft lips. These are the details you will want to zoom in on and admire for years to come.

A close-up of a mother and child, cheek to cheek. This black and white image is filled with emotion and highlights the peacefulness of the moment.

About Precious Details

These macro shots are more than just photos, they are keepsakes of how small your baby was in those first few weeks. To capture these clear, close-up portraits successfully, I highly recommend booking your session between day 5 and 15 of your baby's life. This is the period when they are sleepiest and most comfortable, allowing me to focus on these perfect, peaceful details without any rushing.

Why Macro Details Matter

Newborn features change almost daily. Capturing the texture of their skin, the curve of their eyelashes, and the way they curl their tiny fingers provides a visual anchor to those first, overwhelming weeks. These are the details you will want to zoom in on and admire for years to come.

The Golden Window

My studio is in Ghatkopar, and I work with families across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. The period between 5 and 15 days old is critical. Beyond this age, babies tend to be more alert, more sensitive to being moved, and less flexible, making it harder to achieve the calm, curled-up poses you see in this gallery.

Safety and Comfort

While these images look simple, they require patience and focus. My studio is temperature-controlled and sanitized to ensure a safe environment for your newborn. Whether I am capturing a close-up of tiny toes or the expression on a sleeping face, I work entirely at your baby's pace. If they need a feed, a diaper change, or a cuddle, we stop. Your baby's comfort is the priority, not the shot.

Black and White vs. Color

You will notice many of these details are presented in black and white. Stripping away color helps the viewer focus entirely on the subject, emphasizing the delicate form of hands, feet, and expressions. That said, I am always happy to provide soft, colorful edits if that better suits your personal style or home decor.
