A Community of Learners: Parents as Partners
Raising a child is a team effort. We invite you to step into the classroom, explore the materials alongside your child, and become an active participant in their learning journey.
Play is not just for children. During a parent event, adults rediscover their own sense of wonder at the light table, connecting with the materials and gaining a deeper understanding of how their children learn.
During our Parent Visits, we open our doors for families to experience our philosophy firsthand. Parents sit in on discussions with our founder, engage with educators, and explore the learning spaces, building a bridge between home and school.

Parents get hands-on with the same sensory materials their children use. This shared exploration at the light table fosters empathy and gives parents a direct window into the power of play-based learning.

At our parent-child events, families create together. Whether it's playdough, painting, or embroidery, these shared activities strengthen bonds and celebrate the process of learning as a family.

About A Community of Learners: Parents as Partners
Here, the classroom doors are always open. Instead of just waiting at the gate, we invite you to sit at the light table or join a session with your child. This isn't just about observing; it is about engaging with the same open-ended materials your child uses, giving you a tangible, hands-on understanding of how they think, explore, and process their world.
Why We View Parents as Partners
Learning doesn't stop at the school gate. We believe that for a child to thrive, there must be a bridge between home and our centers in Green Park, Vasant Vihar, and Max Towers. We don't just 'update' you on your child's progress through rigid report cards; we invite you to experience the process firsthand.
How We Connect
- Parent Visits & Open Sessions: We host regular sessions where you can sit on the floor, engage with the 'third teacher' (the environment), and see why we prioritize process over product.
- Collaborative Workshops: From sensory exploration at our light tables to collaborative art projects, these moments allow you to witness the 'Hundred Languages' of your child—their ability to express, communicate, and solve problems long before they master reading and writing.
- Shared Celebrations: Events like our FS4 Culmination aren't just performances. They are reflections of a year-long journey where children and parents co-create meaning, mark milestones, and celebrate the messy, joyful, and serious work of play.
The 'Why' Behind Our Approach
When parents engage with our Reggio-inspired environment, it creates a feedback loop of empathy. You get to see how your child navigates challenges without an adult stepping in to 'fix' things. This shift in perspective—moving from a parent who directs, to a partner who observes and supports—is the foundation of the neuro-affirmative, child-led space we have built together. Whether you are joining our parent-toddler sessions or stopping by for a workshop, you are an essential part of the community here.
Learning Matters
We are Learning Matters, a space where we treat childhood as a journey rather than a race. We believe your involvement is the missing piece in early education, which is why we’ve built our centers in Green Park, Vasant Vihar, and Max Towers to be as welcoming for parents as they are for children.
