We believe play is serious work for children - not just fun, it’s how they really learn. Instead of a rigid system, we slow down and let kids lead the way. I don’t see children as blank slates to fill, but as curious beings who teach us as much as we teach them.
How We Create a Play-Based Learning Environment
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and what neuroscience tells us, our spaces are designed to invite kids to explore. The environment itself is a ‘third teacher’ - full of sensory play activities and chances to get messy. We aren’t here for perfect crafts; we’re all about the process, not just the product.
Learning Journeys
- Parent-toddler bonding programs for kids 18 months+, where you join in, discover together, and make memories through play.
- Preschool programs (ages 2-5) with sensory play, process art, early STEM, and movement. Mud kitchens, playdough, story time - it’s all part of the day.
- After-school enrichment: Play Hours (2.5-4.5 yrs) for art, music, and stories; Emergent literacy workshops (5-8 yrs) for joyful reading and expression; Movement exploration for coordination and teamwork.
Parents as Partners
You’re not left out. We keep you in the loop and invite you to join events, chats, and conferences. Raising children is a team effort - we want you right there with us.

My Story
Hey, we’re Learning Matters. Sonya started this with a simple idea - kids should get to be kids. Play, laughter, even silence. We don’t push for scores here. Our people, like Samini and Mekha, bring the heart. This place is built on kindness and curiosity. We grow with our families, not just teach. If you’re looking for a space where people matter more than outcomes, you’ll fit right in.
