English Enrichment for Kids: Beyond Marks and Memorization
I am Nisha Sanghavi. I started Learner's Hub because English is not a subject to memorize; it is a life skill. Let us build your child's confidence, one conversation at a time.
English is more than just a subject; it's a life skill that opens doors to future opportunities. In this video, I introduce myself, Nisha Sanghavi, and share the story behind Learner's Hub. You will see how we have grown from just three children to a family of over 700 students a year by focusing on building real confidence in reading, phonics, grammar, and creative writing.
I often meet parents who are confused about why their child knows the ABCs but still struggles to read. The secret is understanding the difference between letter names and letter sounds. This video explains how my phonics-based reading program focuses on teaching the 'sound' of a letter, like 'a' for apple, which is the true key to unlocking early literacy skills for young learners.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child's progress. Here, one of our parents shares her experience after her son joined our reading course. It is wonderful to hear that he has not only improved his own reading and speaking but is now confident enough to help other kids in his school. This is the kind of real-world impact I strive for.
I believe learning should feel like play, not a chore. This video shows my Grade 4 students engaged in a Story Cubes activity, a fun game that sparks imagination. By rolling dice with pictures, they work together to create a unique story, developing their creative writing and sentence-building skills without even realizing they are learning.
A score of 90 on a report card doesn't always mean a child has mastered English. I often see students who have good marks but lack the confidence to speak their minds or write creatively. My focus is on building those essential communication skills that marks alone cannot measure, giving your child the ability to truly express themselves.
Learner's Hub is powered by a team of passionate and dedicated educators. Get to know the mentors who bring their unique energy and expertise to our classrooms. From our vocab masters to our creative writing experts, we work together to make learning a joyful and supportive experience for every child.
This parent's feedback highlights the two goals I have for every student: academic achievement and personal confidence. It was wonderful to hear that her son not only won a gold medal in the English Olympiad but also became more confident in his writing and communication with teachers and friends. This is what holistic development looks like.
Many children get stuck because they think in their mother tongue and translate each sentence in their head, which breaks their flow. I teach children to stop translating and start thinking and responding directly in English. This video demonstrates this common mistake and explains how my method helps build natural fluency and reduces hesitation.
This was a truly heartwarming moment for me. Two of my former students, Palak and Meera, visited the center six years after they were with us. Seeing them as confident young women and hearing them talk about how Learner's Hub felt like a second home is the greatest reward for any teacher. It shows the lasting impact of a nurturing learning environment.
Here is a complete overview of the courses I offer, from Junior KG to Grade 10. Whether your child needs a strong foundation in phonics, intermediate grammar skills, or advanced creative writing techniques, I have a structured program designed for their specific age and learning needs. Admissions are now open.
About Featured
Most kids study English to pass exams, but they get stuck when they need to speak or write original thoughts. I teach them to stop translating in their heads—jo mann mein hai, wahi bolo (speak what is in your heart)—so they can express themselves fluently, whether they are in Grade 1 or Grade 10. We move past the fear of making mistakes to create a natural, effortless flow.
Rethinking English Education
For 21 years, I have seen the same pattern: students scoring 90 percent in English but freezing when asked to write a simple paragraph or share an opinion. That is because the system focuses on memory, not expression. At Learner's Hub, we flip that approach. We don't believe in 'bas rote learning' (just memorization). Instead, we help children think and feel in English.
How We Work
My team and I work with students from Junior KG to Grade 10, catering to ICSE, CBSE, and IGCSE boards. We focus on three pillars:
- Foundation: For our youngest learners, we use multi-sensory tools like Jolly Phonics and Letterland. It’s not just ABCs; it’s about sounds, blending, and reading with pride.
- Grammar & Flow: No boring worksheets. We use grammar games, flashcards, and interactive activities to turn complex rules into simple, applicable skills.
- Creative Expression: Whether it is Story Cubes for younger kids or narrative writing for older students, we unlock imagination. We train them to write character sketches and essays that sound like them, not like a textbook.
Why Parents Trust Us
We are not a massive institute where your child is just a roll number. We keep our batches small so every student is noticed. When an ex-student visits me after five years just to say hello, or a parent tells me their child is now helping others speak better English, that is the proof I value more than any test score. If you want your child to stop translating in their head and start speaking with confidence, come join our community.
Learner's Hub
I am Nisha Sanghavi. For over 21 years, my team and I have focused on the 'spark'—that moment when a child stops worrying about the right answer and starts enjoying the language. We are not a coaching center that drills for tests; we are a community where your child learns to think, feel, and express in English.
