My Story: Talks and Media Features Behind My Art
I share my creative journey and the philosophy behind my murals, from TEDx stages to national publications like The Indian Express.
On stage for my TEDx talk, sharing my four-phase creative process: inhalation, assimilation, digestion, and exhalation. It was an honor to share the philosophy behind my art and my 'Travel and Paint' tour.
A close-up from the TEDx stage. I spoke about how my passion for storytelling and community relationships has guided my work, from painting in Mumbai slums to my all-India tour.
A short reel capturing the energy of the day at TEDxKIET. From standing by my banner to walking off stage with the trophy, I am filled with gratitude for the experience.
Receiving the speaker's award after my talk. This moment represents so much more than an award; it's a validation of the path I've chosen and the stories I am trying to tell.
The official speaker announcement for my TEDx talk. Being recognized as a trailblazing artist and for my work with AR and NFT paintings was a proud moment.
I brought the TEDx trophy home! It was an honor to share my process on such a prestigious platform, a day I had dreamt of for a long time.
Meeting and taking pictures with students and attendees after my talk. The best part of these events is connecting with people who are inspired by the message of following your passion.
Another shot from the stage, with one of my artworks projected behind me. My art is always an extension of the people and places that inspire me.
My 'Travel & Paint India' initiative was featured in The Morning Standard. I am so grateful for the coverage of my mission to collaborate with NGOs and local businesses across the country.

About My Story: Talks & Media Features
When you invite me to speak or collaborate, my approach is not just about the final mural, but the story behind it. I use the same framework I presented at TEDx, which includes the inhalation of culture, assimilation of stories, digestion of experiences, and the final exhalation of art, to ensure every project I take on resonates deeply with its local audience.
When I stand on a TEDx stage or speak to a reporter, I am not talking about success in the traditional sense. I am talking about the fisherwomen in Kochi, the coffee pickers in Coorg, and the families in Mumbai slums whose stories find a home on public walls. My work with the Travel and Paint India tour is rooted in the belief that art should be a mirror for society.
Media recognition has been humbling, whether it is being named a Woman of the Decade in Contemporary Art or seeing my mural process dissected in publications like Indulge. These moments validate the path I chose when I left my job to pick up a brush. I have spent years learning how to scale designs and handle the logistics of large-scale public art, and now I want to share those lessons with you. Whether it is through a speaking engagement, a brand collaboration, or a mural for your community, my goal remains the same: to find and express our collective Shakti through colour.
