Join me for a hands-on session where we turn cotton cords into beautiful art. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking for a fun group activity, let's knot something together.

This was such a special day. I had the opportunity to conduct a macrame workshop for an NGO, sharing my craft with these wonderful women. Moments like these, focusing on growth and happiness, are what make my journey as a small business owner so rewarding.

About this collection

In these sessions, we don't just follow a strict pattern—we learn how to fix the mistakes that inevitably happen when you're starting out. If you cut a cord too short or flip a knot the wrong way, I am right there to show you the tricks to salvage your project so you always head home with something you are proud of.

Whether you are planning a birthday party, a corporate team-building event, or just a weekend catch-up with friends in Bangalore, my workshops are designed to be low-stress and beginner-friendly.

Choose Your Experience

  • Introductory Sessions: Perfect for absolute beginners. In 1.5 to 2 hours, we cover the fundamental knots to create functional pieces like keychains, earrings, or coasters. You walk in curious and walk out with your own handmade accessory.
  • Advanced Masterclass: If you want to dive deeper, this 3 to 4-hour intensive class is for you. We focus on structural techniques to build a medium-sized plant hanger or a geometric wall tapestry. We cover everything from achieving the perfect fringe to concealing loose ends.
  • Group & Party Packages: These are streamlined 60 to 90-minute sessions optimized for social gatherings. We use pre-cut materials so everyone gets straight to the fun part—making items like bag tags or mini rainbows.

The Vibe

My workshops are not about perfection. Kabhi kabhi cord galat kat dete hain (Sometimes you cut the cord wrong), and that is okay. I bring all the materials—3mm and 4mm cotton cords, beads, and dowels—to your location. You do not need to be artistic to start. Just bring your curiosity, and we will handle the rest.

I am Deepika, the messy hands behind Knotanaffair. I have spent the last three years covered in cotton cords, and I absolutely love helping people find their creative rhythm. I do not just teach you to knot; I share the process, the hiccups, and the joy of making something handmade from scratch.
