Your baby's first few days are a fleeting, quiet poem. I capture these delicate details—tiny fingers, soft sighs, and that fresh, new-world glow—in a calm, safe, and gentle studio setting here in Banaswadi.

The adorable "froggy pose" is a client favorite, and it's created with the utmost care. This is a composite image, meaning the baby is supported by hands at all times to ensure complete safety while achieving this sweet, curled-up look.

A peaceful newborn rests in a simple wicker basket, adorned with a delicate floral headband. The natural textures and soft lighting highlight the baby's serene expression and tiny features.

Dressed in a cozy red outfit and cap, this little one sleeps soundly. This portrait captures the warmth and comfort of the newborn phase, a perfect memory for a drizzly Bangalore day.

A two-month-old baby peeks over the edge of a rustic wooden bucket, showing that beautiful portraits are possible even after the first few weeks. That little smirk is everything.

This black and white close-up of a nine-day-old newborn highlights the delicate, sleepy features that are so characteristic of the first ten days. Booking your session early helps capture this fleeting peace.

Introducing Aryan, just one week new. This portrait captures him peacefully wrapped in a green swaddle, showcasing the delicate, fresh look of a baby in their first ten days.

Painted in soft pastels, this newborn girl is surrounded by gentle pink flowers. This setup is all about radiating calm, love, and the feeling of a fresh start.

"Really? This is the outfit you picked?" This nine-day-old's expressive, wide-eyed look is a funny reminder that even the tiniest babies have a big personality.

About Newborn Portraits: Wrapped & Posed

When you see those perfectly curled-up poses, like the 'froggy' pose, know that your baby is never left unsupported. I use composite editing, which means your baby is held by me or an assistant at all times, and we layer the images in post-production. You get the artistic, sleepy portrait while your little one stays safe and comfy the entire time.

The first two weeks of your baby's life are a blur of wonder. My goal is to slow that time down, just for a moment. Whether it's the 6-14 day window where they are most curled and sleepy, or a bit later as they start to find their voice and facial expressions, each stage has its own beauty.

My studio in OMBR Layout, Banaswadi, is designed with your baby in mind. It is a quiet, temperature-controlled space where we prioritize rhythm and comfort over rigid timing. If your baby needs to feed, be soothed, or simply rest, we stop. My newborn sessions are patient, honest, and unscripted.

I focus on simple, organic textures. You won't find loud colors or overly fussy props here. Instead, I use soft wool wraps, hand-woven baskets, and natural floral elements that complement your baby's features rather than distracting from them. Whether it’s a minimalist portrait against a deep teal backdrop or a classic black and white image that focuses entirely on those tiny eyelashes and little smiles, the aim is always the same: a photograph that feels like a family heirloom.

Safety is the foundation of my work. Every prop is sanitized, and every pose is guided by your baby's own comfort. If a pose does not feel right for them, we pivot. Authenticity is my North Star; I want these portraits to remind you of who they were in those very first, magical days.

I’m Kavitha. My camera became my third hand the moment I watched my own son bathed in evening light at three months old. I don't believe in perfect, polished shoots—I believe in capturing the messy, beautiful reality of your new chapter with heart.
