About The Newborn Dream: Wrapped & Posed
Newborn sessions are best planned for the 5 to 15-day window, when your baby is naturally more comfortable staying in those quiet, curled-up positions. My approach relies on baby-led posing, which means I prioritize feeding and settling breaks to ensure the environment remains calm, safe, and stress-free for both you and your little one.
I believe that the best portraits come from a relaxed environment, not a rushed one. Each newborn session is scheduled for 2 to 3 hours, which gives us plenty of time to feed, soothe, and transition your baby between two distinct themes without any pressure. Whether you prefer vibrant, earthy color palettes or the timeless depth of black and white, we can curate the aesthetic to match your home's decor.
My studio is fully equipped with a curated collection of premium cheesecloth wraps, hand-knit bonnets, and textured layers. You won't need to bring a thing; I handle all the styling, lighting, and safety. I focus on creating a 'womb-like' atmosphere where your baby feels secure and warm.
Safety is the foundation of my work. Every pose is natural and gentle, tailored to the baby's comfort. If they do not want to be in a specific position, we change the plan immediately. This is about capturing the tiny yawns, the soft curls, and the perfect, smooth skin before they start growing up too fast.
Once we are done, I personally edit every image to enhance the painterly quality of the light, ensuring you receive high-end, gallery-ready files. If you are expecting, I highly recommend booking your slot in your second trimester to ensure I am available during your baby's first two weeks.
