Luxury Bathroom and Washroom Surface Design
I view bathrooms as private sanctuaries, not just utility rooms. I design and fabricate bespoke surfaces, from detailed mosaic inlays to textured stone walls, that turn your washroom into an experiential space.
A glimpse into a bathroom where elegance is in the details. The wall features large-format tiles with subtle veining and geometric cuts, complemented by integrated LED lighting for a clean, modern look.
This video showcases a washroom defined by its bold and refined surfaces. I used a Red Crimson stone for the walls and paired it with a custom tile and marble fusion floor to create a rich, experiential space.
A demonstration of how surface design transforms a bathroom. The video shows the same space transitioning from a monochrome concept to a vibrant green, illustrating the power of our custom 3D panels to completely change the mood.
This minimalist bathroom design focuses on clean lines and subtle textures. The floor features an intricate mosaic tile rug pattern, adding a decorative element without overwhelming the serene, marble-effect porcelain tile surroundings.

A study in texture and contrast. The lower half of this bathroom wall features a bold terrazzo-style tile, while the upper half uses large-format, concrete-effect tiles for a moody, minimalist feel.
This view shows how different surface materials work together in a modern washroom. The terrazzo-style floor and wainscoting are balanced by the dark, concrete-look wall tiles and a clean, white door.

About Luxury Bathroom & Washroom Surfaces
I focus on the intersection of aesthetics and hydro-dynamics. A luxury bathroom is only as good as its weakest joint, so I use waterjet-cut stone and precise tile layouts to ensure water does not pool where it should not. Whether it is backlit stone shelving or a seamless mosaic floor, the goal is to make the surface durable enough for daily use while keeping the design feeling like an art piece.
When designing for a bathroom, moisture resistance is the foundation, but style is the soul. I have moved away from standard porcelain setups to create custom environments using materials like natural stone, hand-cut mosaics, and UHPC concrete panels.
For a project like the emerald green shower space I created, the focus was on sourcing handmade tiles that offer a depth of color impossible to find in mass-market options. I used a waterjet cutter to ensure the joints were tight, minimizing grout lines to keep the look seamless and clean.
If you want a moody, modern washroom, we look at textures. I often use a mix of large-format concrete-effect tiles and raw stone finishes. For clients who want something bolder, I can incorporate materials like Red Ruptura stone or brass inlay work that is fully sealed to prevent oxidation in humid conditions.
My process involves:
- Material Suitability: Choosing stones and tiles that handle steam and high humidity without degrading.
- Precision Fabrication: Using CNC and waterjet cutting for intricate patterns like herringbone or floral inlays, ensuring zero-gap tolerance.
- Technical Integrity: Planning the slope of the floor and the anchoring of heavy stone slabs to ensure safety and longevity.
Whether you are looking for a spa-like retreat or a bold, statement powder room, I help you select materials that stand up to the wear and tear of a bathroom while elevating the space.
