What We Cover in Our Camps

Our summer camps are designed to be more than just a break from school. We focus on building a strong foundation in both mind and body. Students rotate through our core disciplines, including traditional Shito-ryu Karate and the rhythmic art of Silambam.

• Karate Foundations: We teach Kihon (stances) and basic Kata (forms). It is about discipline and learning to focus the mind, not just physical movement.
• Silambam: We honor our local heritage by teaching the use of the bamboo staff. This is fantastic for developing wrist rotation, coordination, and hand-eye speed.
• Self-Defense: Practical techniques that empower kids, helping them feel safe and confident in their daily lives.

Why Choose Our Camp

What makes our camp different is the environment. We train at the Bharath Group of Institutions, often incorporating an open-air atmosphere that feels closer to a real village training ground. It is hands-on, loud, and full of energy.

We keep groups to a size where I can actually correct each student's stance. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to sharpen their skills, we tailor the drills to their level. By the end of the camp, students leave with a better understanding of their own strength and a new sense of discipline that carries over to their academics and other activities. We have seen shy kids blossom into confident demonstrators by the time the closing ceremony rolls around.
