About Our Students' Achievements
Before any medal ceremony, there are months of hard sparring and kata repetition. We don't just walk into tournaments; we train specifically for WKF rules, analyzing technique and building stamina so every student feels ready for the pressure on the big stage.
Our journey to the medal podium starts long before the tournament day. In the BGI Elite Athlete Competition Program, we shift the focus from basic fitness to performance. We break down the WKF (World Karate Federation) rules, which means we work heavily on point-fighting strategy for Kumite and explosive precision for Kata.
I personally handle the video review of my students. When you see someone on the mat, they are dealing with adrenaline and fatigue. We simulate that by using HIIT intervals that match the 3-minute bout duration. It is not always about winning gold; it is about building the discipline to stand back up after being knocked down.
Whether we are at our home dojo in Tirupattur or traveling to a national championship in Mysore or Chennai, the vibe remains the same: family first. My students, like Haripreetha and Lathesh, have shown that confidence comes from consistency. If you are serious about taking your karate or silambam to a competitive level, this is where we build that fire together. 🥋🔥
