About this collection
When you train with us at the Bharath Group of Institutions, you aren't just memorizing moves. We focus heavily on WKF-standard sparring and specific drills to fix your stance in real-time, because small corrections make the biggest difference in competition.
Martial arts is a journey that never ends, and this is where we put in the sweat to get better every day. Whether it's practicing high-speed Kumite drills or refining the rhythm in Kata, every session is about discipline and growth.
Learning from the Source
I believe you are only as good as your teachers. That is why I make it a priority to attend seminars with Japanese grandmasters like Kenyu Mabuni and Genzo Iwata. These sessions are special because they aren't just about watching; they are about understanding the 'why' behind every movement. I bring those exact traditional Kobudo lessons back to our dojo in Tirupattur so you get that global experience right here at home.
Our Training Focus
- WKF-Standard Sparring: We train for competition. We drill distance management, reaction timing, and point-scoring strategies.
- Technical Precision: We break down Shito-ryu forms like Unsu and Suparinpei, focusing on snap and power.
- Conditioning: Strength is useless without control. We use plyometric ladders and resistance tubes to build the explosive power needed on the tatami.
Building Our Family
Namma karate family is about supporting each other through every win and loss. We train hard, but we also ensure that every student, from kids to college level, feels confident and safe. We keep our ratios small—about 1:15—with senior belt students assisting, so you always get the attention you need to progress. If you have the fire, we have the path to help you level up.
