Competing on the global tatami changed how I coach. I bring those exact competition drills and WSKF-standard techniques back to our students here in Tirupattur.

The main arena for the 10th Shitoryu Karatedo International Championships in Indonesia. The atmosphere here was electric and competing on this stage was an incredible experience.

A live video I took from the international competition in Indonesia. I explain the difference between Kata and Kumite and share the amazing energy of having 87 countries participating.

A shot from our training session in Indonesia. We practiced our kicks, stances, and movements with fellow karateka from all over the world, a truly wonderful experience.

Another action shot of me performing my Kata during the international competition. Every movement requires complete focus, power, and precision.

I recorded this live video to show an amazing women's team Kata match between Japan and China. The skill and synchronization on display at the international level are just awesome to watch.

About this collection

Stepping onto the international mat in Indonesia meant more than just winning medals; it was about learning how the best in the world move, think, and prepare. I bring that same discipline into our Tirupattur dojo, specifically focusing on the micro-adjustments in stance and strategy that make a difference in high-stakes competition. If you are serious about leveling up your Kata or Kumite, I teach the specific WKF-standard drills that helped me compete on the global stage.

Bringing Global Expertise to Tirupattur

When I travel for international seminars—like the WSKF events in Indonesia or training with Japanese grandmasters—I am not just there to compete. I am there to learn. My goal is to bridge the gap between local coaching and the high standards seen at the World Karate Federation (WKF) level.

What International Training Means for You

  • Technical Precision: In international Kata, the margin for error is razor-thin. I teach the exact Shito-ryu principles regarding rhythm, snap, and power that I picked up directly from masters in Japan.
  • Fighting Strategy (Kumite): Fighting is not just about aggression; it is about distance management and timing. I share the tactical mindset I used in international rings to help you fight smarter, not just harder.
  • Discipline & Mindset: Training in a global environment taught me how to handle pressure. I help my students build the same resilience, whether they are preparing for a district tournament or just starting their journey.

Why This Matters

Many students have the fire, but they lack the technical roadmap. I don't just tell you what to do; I show you how to do it based on what I have seen work in Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. Namma karate (our karate) is about growing together. If you have the passion, I will provide the path to help you reach that next level. Whether you are aiming for state-level medals or looking to master your forms, my international experience gives you a clear advantage.
