Hybrid Party Pad and Office Interior Design
Most offices feel like a box, but this space transforms into a lounge the moment the clock hits five. By mixing a dark, moody palette with custom marble furniture, we created a dual-purpose environment that handles business meetings and late-night drinks with equal ease.
The living room of the Party Pad was designed with a cozy, dark color palette and vibrant furniture to create the perfect vibe for entertaining. The wall art is my own quirky take on "The Last Supper," featuring the client's friends and family.
The bar is the heart of the party. We used a pink micro-topped bar unit with a built-in fridge and sink, paired with my favorite MOOOI bar stools. The art on the wall is designed to be immersive and a little trippy.
A tour of the dining and pantry area, which serves as a makeshift office during the day. The space features a custom marble table from my Matilda Collection and sleek, handleless cabinetry for a clean look.
This video shows the den/cabin area, which functions as a private office. It features a classic Giorgetti desk and my own custom-designed marble version, showcasing how I reinterpret classic designs with my own twist.
The view from this apartment is to die for. This video captures the stunning sea view from the living room, which was a key element in the design of the Party Pad.
Another view of the living room, featuring a long yellow sofa against a dark, textured wall. The geometric mirrors add a touch of art deco glamour to the space.
The dining area features a marble table from my Matilda Collection, paired with vibrant orange velvet chairs. The space is designed to be flexible, serving as a dining spot, a meeting table, or a serving station during parties.
A cozy corner of the Party Pad, featuring modern white lounge chairs and a custom art piece. The dark, textured walls create a moody and sophisticated backdrop for the vibrant furniture and art.
The cabin/office space features a custom marble desk and bold teal leather chairs, all set against a rich, textured wall. The large window offers an inspiring view of the sea, making it a great place to work.

About The Party Pad: An Office & Entertainment Hub
The backlit vinyl ceiling is the secret weapon here. It provides a seamless, shadow-free light for office work during the day, but with a quick adjustment of the dimmers, it transforms the entire room into a moody, high-energy party zone at night. When you want your home to play two different roles, you cannot just rely on furniture—you have to design for the shift in mood.
Designing a space that works as both a productive office and a party hub is about balancing intensity with calm. We started with the walls—using a dark Oikos stucco finish that acts as a canvas. It doesn't scream for attention but absorbs the mood lighting, making the vibrant furniture and art pop.
The Office-to-Party Shift
In a hybrid space, storage often becomes the enemy of aesthetics. Here, we integrated a pantry block using Kalinga stone. During the day, it holds office files and serves coffee; by night, it becomes a clean, functional bar counter. We didn't want the tech to clutter the room, so we hid the necessary office equipment within custom cabinetry, leaving only the statement pieces visible.
Custom Elements
- The Desk: I reinterpreted the Giorgetti Erasmo desk for this project. Instead of just copying the classic, we built it as part of my Matilda Collection, using heavy marble that anchors the room.
- The Seating: We used bold, teal leather chairs that offer serious ergonomic support for long work hours but feel plush and luxe enough for a cocktail party.
- The Lighting: Lighting defines the shift. We avoided generic downlighters in favor of profile LEDs and the backlit ceiling, which ensures the room feels alive, not corporate, even when you're working.
This project in Marine Lines taught us that you don't need two separate rooms to live two different lives. You just need a design that knows when to work and when to let loose.
