Handmade Art Prints and Market Finds
Explore our collection of original prints, zines, and unique finds. Every purchase directly supports our studio and the community of artists we nurture here in Bengaluru.
The announcement for our very first Kānike Garage Sale. These events are a fun way for us to clear out studio items, sell prints, and raise funds for the upkeep of our creative space.
About Our Art Market & Print Sales
When you pick up a piece from our markets, you are taking home something real. Whether it is a cyanotype test print or a zine, these items are not mass-produced. Expect slight variations in ink and paper that come with manual, analog printing processes. We price these accessibly to keep art within reach, and every sale helps us maintain our darkroom and pottery equipment.
Bringing Analog Art Home
We believe art should not just be for galleries. Our markets and print sales are designed to make original, handmade work a part of your daily life. Whether you are looking for a small botanical cyanotype to brighten your desk or a limited edition zine that explores a new narrative, you will find it here.
What to Expect at Our Markets
You will not find digital prints here. Everything we sell is crafted using traditional, hands-on techniques. We work with 200 to 250 GSM cardstock for our zines and test prints, and 300 GSM archival cotton rag for our larger, framed originals. Because we use methods like wet plate collodion, Van Dyke Brown, and various ink-based processes, each print carries the artist's touch. The chemical variances and brush strokes make it unique.
Supporting Local Creativity
Our art sales are about more than just transactions. We run these events to sustain our Cooke Town studio space. When you buy a print or a sculpture, you are helping us keep our darkroom running, funding residencies for visiting artists, and supporting our community outreach efforts. Drop by for an open studio to chat with us, see what is currently brewing in the lab, and pick out something that speaks to you.

We are Kānike, an artist-run space in Bengaluru dedicated to the tactile beauty of analog processes. We love handmade quirks, old-school techniques, and building a community where anyone can create or collect art. Come visit us to see what is on our walls.
