About this collection
I don't just copy a photo. I start with a detailed pencil sketch on canvas that you see first, and then I build it up layer by layer with acrylic or oil. Whether the original photo is old or just a casual selfie, I do digital enhancement before I touch the brush, so you get a final painting that looks better than the reference.
When you commission a couple's painting, you are getting more than just a picture. You are getting a piece of art that lasts for years. I work mainly in two styles: my signature Vibrant Acrylics, which use bold colors to make the subject pop, and my Classic Oil Portraits, which offer soft gradients and deep, realistic skin tones.
The Process:
- Photos: You send the pictures. If they are old or low-quality, don't worry. I reconstruct the details so the final painting looks clean.
- Sketching: I create a rough sketch on the canvas first. You get to see this stage so we are on the same page before I add any paint.
- Painting: For acrylics, I usually need about 5 to 10 days. For oil portraits, I need 3 to 4 weeks because oil needs time to cure properly between layers.
- Protection: Every canvas is gallery-wrapped on a sturdy wooden frame, varnished for UV protection, and packed in multi-layer secure packaging for shipping anywhere in India.
Whether it's a milestone anniversary or a simple surprise, a hand-painted portrait is a gift that doesn't fade. I take pride in making every stroke count.
