About Women of Kalavadhyam

Before you ever touch a Chenda drum, you will begin with Saadhakam, the disciplined practice of rhythm on stone blocks. This is how we build the muscle memory and posture required for the powerful, resonant sounds of the ensemble. We do not skip this stage, as it ensures that every student, regardless of age, develops the foundational strength needed to carry forward the legacy of our percussion arts.
