When you build on-site, the dust and lack of precision can ruin a finish. I prefer factory-made modular kitchens because they offer superior edge-banding and structural integrity. Every cabinet is machine-pressed, meaning it handles moisture better and lasts much longer than traditional carpentry.
Choosing Your Materials
- BWP Plywood: The gold standard for water resistance. Perfect for areas near the sink or in humid conditions.
- HDHMR: A high-density board that is extremely durable and termite-resistant. It provides a smooth surface, which is essential if you want a high-gloss or PU paint finish.
