Our 100-Year Legacy and Customer Stories
Four generations of keeping Delhi's authentic flavours alive. Discover why families have trusted our kitchen for their weddings, festivals, and celebrations for over a century.
In this video, I explain the history of our shop. My father started it as a small stall in Bhogal. I also share the meaning of our name 'Kadimi', a Persian word for 'oldest', reflecting our heritage.
People often ask which of our items are the most famous. While everything is loved, I talk about our specialties like Boondi Laddoos, Dhoda Barfi, and especially our Bedmi Puri with Aloo Sabzi, which is a household favorite.
How do we maintain the same quality for 100 years? The secret is simple. We follow the exact systems and recipes my father created. Here, I talk about our commitment to tradition.
The smiles on our customers' faces are our biggest reward. Here, you can see patrons who have been visiting us for over 30 years, sharing their love for our Rabri, Samosas, and Gajar ka Halwa.
This is what we call 'asli kamaai' or real earnings. In this video, I share a story about a family that has trusted us for three generations of weddings. This is the legacy of trust we bring to every event we cater.
About Our 100-Year Legacy & Customer Stories
It is rare to find a kitchen that makes food exactly the way it was prepared 100 years ago. When we cater your event, we do not just send a standard menu, we use the same recipes and systems my father established. Whether it is the specific crisp of our Bedmi Puri or the consistent richness of our curries, that reliability is why families have returned to us across three generations.
A Century of 'Asli Kamaai'
It started as a small stall in Bhogal during the early 1900s. My father, Sultan Singh ji, named it 'Kadimi'—a Persian word meaning 'oldest'—and that is exactly what we have remained in spirit. We are not a high-volume factory kitchen; we are a family legacy. When a grandmother comes to us saying she ordered for her wedding, her daughter's wedding, and now her granddaughter's, that is our real earning.
Why Our Catering is Different
Most caterers rely on changing food trends. We rely on time-tested systems.
- Recipes: We have not changed our spice blends or our cooking methods. We still use pure desi ghee and traditional techniques for every order, big or small.
- Menu Integrity: Whether you need a standard North Indian spread or a strict No Onion No Garlic menu for a religious function, the taste remains pure.
- Scale: From intimate home poojas to large-scale events, our team brings the same care to every plate.
We handle the kitchen logistics so you can focus on your guests. If you are looking for catering that feels like home-cooked tradition rather than mass-produced food, let's talk.
Kadimi
I am Ramesh Jain, and I have spent my life ensuring that the same taste my father served in Bhogal decades ago is what you get today. We are a family-run kitchen, and when we cater your event, we treat it with the same care we would our own family functions. It is not just about feeding people; it is about carrying a tradition forward to your table.
