The Art of Detail in Hand-Embroidered Ethnic Wear
It is the small details that make a look truly yours. From hand-sewn pearl accents to precise cutdana work, I obsess over the finish so you can simply shine.

About The Art of Detail
When you choose custom work, the finish is everything. I personally oversee the placement of every pearl and sequin on my net kurtis and jackets, ensuring the embroidery lies flat against the fabric without catching. This attention to construction means your outfit will not just look good in photos, it will feel comfortable for hours on the dance floor.
Why Details Matter
Many clients come to my Vashi studio worried that heavy embroidery will be itchy or stiff. My goal is to combine the richness of traditional techniques with the wearability of modern fashion. Whether it is zardosi on a silk jacket or delicate appliqué on a cocktail gown, I focus on the structural integrity of the piece so it moves with you, not against you.
My Craftsmanship Process
I work primarily with premium Italian crepe, georgette, and soft net because they provide the perfect base for intricate handwork. My process involves:
- Material Selection: I source pearls, glass beads for cutdana, and high-quality sequins that retain their luster even after hours of wear.
- Placement Strategy: I map out embroidery patterns to ensure they highlight your silhouette without adding unnecessary bulk.
- Finishing Touches: I pay special attention to the inner lining, using invisible hemming and proper fusing so the garment maintains its shape, even after a long night of dancing.
Customizing Your Look
If you have a vision, we can start there. Some clients want the boldness of 3D appliqué, while others prefer the subtlety of tone-on-tone sequins. We can discuss your preferred fabric and embroidery density during our consultation. Even if we are collaborating online, I walk you through the measurement and design process to ensure the final result is exactly what you imagined.
