About A Closer Look: Craftsmanship & Detail

It is not just about how an outfit looks, but how it holds up through a long day. For every occasion lehenga, I add a custom hard-net can-can layer and canvas padding at the hem to give it that perfect volume, while ensuring the inner lining is soft Santoon so it never feels itchy or uncomfortable.

When you look closely at these pieces, you will see exactly where the effort goes. I focus on quality fabrics like Banarasi, Dupion silk, and organza that provide the right drape and sheen without needing to be dry-cleaned every single time.

The Quality Check

  • Embroidery: Whether it is machine thread work, foil mirror accents, or delicate zari weaving, I ensure the stitching is tight and secure. You will not find loose threads hanging off the yoke or sleeves.
  • Finishing: For sarees, I always include pico work on the borders to prevent fraying and stitch a cotton fall at the bottom pleats. It is a small step, but it makes the saree drape properly and prevents it from tripping you up.
  • Comfort: For our kurta sets, I prioritize opacity. We use a soft Santoon or cotton mix inner lining attached to the kurta, so you do not have to worry about what to wear underneath.

My goal is to give you designer-level detailing—like padded blouse cups and color-matched side zippers—at a price that actually makes sense. These are pieces made to be worn, lived in, and enjoyed, not just stored in a closet.

I am the person behind AethnoFit, and I just love making ethnic wear that feels like a hug from home. I grew up around textiles here in Mumbai, and now I spend my days mixing those traditional roots with trends that you will actually want to wear. If you are looking for someone who obsesses over the stitch as much as the style, we will get along just fine.
