Festivals are the heartbeat of our culture. At Justbe, we honor these special days by reimagining traditional feasts into plant-based, wholesome experiences that nourish both your body and soul.

For our 8th anniversary, I hosted "Maa-Sa," an intimate Marwadi celebration featuring recipes passed down from my mother's home kitchen. It was a special one-day event, bringing the authentic taste of my childhood to your plate.

"Aaj maza aa gaya." To celebrate eight years of Justbe, I brought the flavours of my childhood home to the restaurant. Serving the simple, soulful Marwari food from my mother's kitchen and seeing the joy it brought to everyone truly moved me.

For our anniversary, I wanted you to feel like you were eating not in a restaurant, but in my home. I brought my mother's cook, Maharaj ji, from Mumbai to help me recreate the authentic taste of "mummy ke haath ka khana" for a truly personal celebration.

Ugadi is a celebration of the six tastes of life, and our "Ugadi Reimagined" buffet brings this beautiful concept to your plate. We offer a plant-based vegetarian Ugadi Pachadi buffet that perfectly balances sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and spicy flavours.

Ugadi is a fresh start, a celebration of life full of different flavours, just like our food. I invite you to experience the magic of Ugadi Pachadi and a grand spread of festive plant-based delights that nourish your soul and celebrate tradition.

Celebrating Ugadi the Justbe way means embracing tradition with a conscious heart. I was so happy to welcome our guests with our special apple-sweetened Ugadi Pachadi, kicking off the new year with health, joy, and togetherness.

Our Ugadi celebration was a feast for the senses. The restaurant was adorned with vibrant flowers, and guests enjoyed a traditional Karnataka-style meal served on a banana leaf, all set to the beautiful backdrop of live Carnatic music.

Getting ready for our Ugadi feast! Here's a little behind-the-scenes look as my team and I prepared to serve a traditional Karnataka-style meal on a banana leaf. We look forward to celebrating these beautiful cultural moments with you.

We invite you to our Ugadi Pachadi celebration, a grand plant-based buffet that blends tradition with a mindful twist. Join us to welcome the new year with food that loves you back, but be sure to register soon as slots are limited.

For our Onam celebration, we curated a special Kerala feast with over 20 delicious dishes served on a traditional banana leaf. To make the celebration even better, we offered a special where for every four guests, the fifth person dined for free.

About Festive & Cultural Feasts

When you join us for a festival, you aren't just sitting down for a meal; you are part of a family gathering in our heritage home in Sadashiva Nagar. We move away from standard restaurant fare to create seasonal, traditional menus—like serving Karnataka-style meals on banana leaves for Ugadi or our special Marwari anniversary feast—all while ensuring every dish remains 100% plant-based, oil-free, and sugar-free.

Food That Tells a Story

I believe that a festival is not just about a date on the calendar; it is about the emotion and the heritage behind it. People often think plant-based food is just ghaas-phoos, but our festive spreads are designed to prove that tradition and health can coexist perfectly. Whether it is the six flavors of Ugadi or the harvest warmth of Sankranti, we bring authentic regional recipes to the table, minus the dairy and refined ingredients.

Why Host With Us?

  • Heritage Ambiance: Our space is a cozy, old-world home, not a cold, commercial venue. It feels like a living room, perfect for families to connect.
  • Mindful Eating: Every feast is oil-free, maida-free, and sugar-free. You leave feeling light, energized, and deeply satisfied.
  • Community Vibe: We host these as limited-seating events to maintain an intimate atmosphere where everyone feels seen and welcomed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only do Indian festivals? We focus on Indian cultural festivals like Ugadi, Onam, and Sankranti because they carry such deep community significance. However, we also host thematic events like our Easter culinary journeys, where we explore historical flavor trails.

Can I bring my family? Absolutely. Justbe is pet-friendly and designed for all ages. We love seeing grandparents, parents, and children sharing a meal together.

Is the menu fixed? For our festive buffets, we design a set menu that captures the essence of the season. If you have specific allergy concerns, let us know when you book, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
